1969 Maserati Ghibli 5-Speed

This is a 4.7 litre Ghibli AM 115 1476 with matching engine number. It was delivered new in 1969 to a Montreal, Canada importer as a European spec car. It is a very late transitional model with the rare dash configuration having the toggle switches up high on the fascia panel. The car has been in a private collection for over 25 years in British Columbia prior to its restoration in 2004-2005.

All mechanical elements – engine, clutch, gear-box, limited slip differential, axles, suspension - were restored as better than new and high detailed and refinished. Newer Michelin original spec XWX 225/70 15 are in as new condition. Exhaust system is stainless steel with new Stainless headers to longer euro specs.

The car was also repainted in it’s original Blu Pervica metallic blue, all new replated chrome and seals, and the complete interior has been restored to a very high quality standard with black hides from Italy.

Entered in the 2005 Concorso Italiano in Monterey California, the car took three First Place trophies: Best early GT, Best of Marque and Best representation of the famed Designer Giogetto Giugiaro. Entered again in 2006 it received another similar award and another First Place. Having just 48,000 miles on the clock as of 20, August 2010, we can describe this Ghibli as being in exceptional overall condition after high quality restoration throughout. It comes with a complete photographic record of its restoration as well as maintenance invoices, User's Manual, tools, and jack. It has just been serviced and is ready to show or rally with the utmost pleasure and confidence.
